Four Considerations for Your Next Global Event

Event season is upon us and we at Swift Group could not be more thrilled! From the largest cybersecurity conferences in the world, like RSA and Black Ha, to intimate executive offsites, like an Executive Board meeting,we are gearing up with our clients to deliver some of the most unique experiences to date (and we’ve been around… for a while)! Want to know how we make the magic happen? Here are four things we consider most when planning stellar events:

  1. Accessibility planning begins on day one: The attendee’s experience is paramount to any successful event. We firmly believe designing an equitable experience for all starts on day one of planning. We center the design and strategy of every event around the core needs of our audience (and prioritize it in the budget!) to best ensure a memorable experience regardless of ability or disability.
Here are some great guidelines we incorporate outlined by Social Tables

  1.  Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the way we live and work, and the global event industry is no exception. Swift Group is leveraging AI to streamline our operations, from event registration and ticketing to logistics and marketing. Did ChatGPT write this article? We will never tell! By leveraging AI, we can enhance the attendee experience, and make events more efficient and effective.
  2. Partnership keeps the lights on: Swift Group has planned global events for almost 20 years. Our growth and success have so much to do with our network of clients and partners. As we are all tasked with doing more with less, deep relationships with vendors, connecting clients with mutual goals, and getting scrappy (while staying fabulous) is the new name of the game.
  3. Sustainability isn’t optional: Climate change is a pressing issue that must be at the fore of our agenda planning for any event, big and small. Reducing our carbon footprint happens at almost every juncture of a successful event. From reducing waste (stop printing everything!), sourcing sustainable food and beverage options, using environmentally friendly transportation, and being incredibly critical with SWAG options are just a few ways we try to keep our environmental footprint small. By prioritizing sustainability, we can ensure that events have a positive impact on the environment and the community for years to come.
